About Peter Wiley
Peter Wiley is a native of Central Virginia. He grew up on a working horse farm outside of Charlottesville, Virginia where he learned a great deal about land, farming and horses from his father, U.S. Olympic rider, farmer and realtor, Hugh Wiley. Peter joined Frank Hardy, Inc. in 2005 and has been very active in the brokerage of farms, estates and historic properties in the Charlottesville area, Shenandoah Valley as well as Rappahannock County and the Tidewater area.
Peter earned a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the College of Charleston, S.C. and a Masters of International Business from the University of South Carolina. He is fluent in Spanish. Peter his wife, Melissa, who works for the Piedmont Environmental Council, and their daughter Violet live in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Prior to becoming a realtor, Mr. Wiley served as a Congressional staffer for a Member of Congress and more recently as a lobbyist for the Venture Capital and Biotechnology industries in Boston, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. before returning to Virginia to work with his family in the brokerage of farms and estates.
